1. Purpose
This Policy explains how NourVox Studio (“NourVox”, “we”) collects, uses, retains and protects personal information when you use nourvox.com, including its audio, image, video, transcription and social publishing tools.
2. Data we process
- Account: optional name, email address, securely hashed password, language and account settings.
- Usage and transactions: credits, operations, technical logs, IP address, device and security information.
- Content: text, audio, images, videos, transcripts, titles, descriptions and settings you create or upload.
- Google/YouTube data: OAuth grants, encrypted access and refresh tokens, authorized scope, expiration date, and publishing results such as the published video ID and URL.
NourVox never requests, receives or stores your Google or YouTube password.
3. Google and YouTube APIs
NourVox uses the YouTube Data API only to let a signed-in user upload a specifically selected NourVox video to that user’s own YouTube channel. Uploading starts only after the user explicitly confirms the title, description, privacy setting and publish action.
NourVox requests https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload. We do not use this permission to access viewing history, monitor YouTube activity, sell data, target advertising or publish without the user’s explicit action.
NourVox Studio’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
4. Purposes and legal grounds
We process data to provide requested services, perform authorized uploads, manage accounts and credits, secure the platform, prevent abuse, provide support and meet legal obligations. Where required, processing is based on consent; otherwise it is based on service performance, legitimate security interests or legal obligations.
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share only the data needed with Google/YouTube when you request an upload, and with service providers supporting hosting, storage, security, content generation or payments. We may also disclose data where required by law.
6. Retention
Account and transaction data is retained as needed for the service and legal obligations. OAuth tokens are retained while the YouTube connection remains active or necessary. Following revocation, account deletion or a valid request, Google/YouTube data and tokens held by NourVox are deleted as soon as possible and within seven days, unless retention is strictly required by law. This does not delete videos already stored on YouTube.
7. Security
We use appropriate safeguards, including encrypted OAuth tokens, per-user access controls, HTTPS, password hashing and protected backups. No system can guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices, revocation and deletion
You can revoke NourVox access from Google’s third-party apps and services page. To request access, correction, YouTube disconnection or deletion of data held by NourVox, email contact@nourvox.com. We may reasonably verify your identity.
9. International transfers
NourVox providers may process information in Canada or other countries. Where required, appropriate contractual and organizational safeguards are used.
10. Children
NourVox is not intended for children under 13 or anyone unable to consent to data processing in their territory without parental authorization.
11. Changes
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the service or law. The update date appears above. Material changes to Google data use will require renewed consent where applicable.
